The fourth session in the series. Connectors (MCP) are how Claude reaches your real tools — Notion, Microsoft 365, Slack — used on their own and then chained together. For everyone on Claude.ai or Cowork. No coding.
Three workflows, walked through as flow charts
- Answer Finder — searches Notion + Slack + Outlook at once and returns one cited answer, plus who to ask for more.
- Meeting Prep — calendar + Notion + Slack → a one-page brief before any meeting.
- Salesforce churn alert — pulls churn signals from Salesforce, then DMs each account owner on Slack and writes a timestamped report to Notion.
The principle: read freely, act on purpose
The thread running through all of it: anything that reads can fire automatically, but any workflow that writes should be a manual command — never something that auto-fires. The session also handed out three real, copy-and-use skills (answer-finder, meeting-prep, and the manual salesforce-churn-alert command) demonstrating exactly that boundary, each one preflighting its connectors before it does anything.
